First Days of Thailand

So Kodi and I have begun our long anticipated SE Asia tour.  We left a bitterly cold Korea to arrive in warmer climes here in Thailand.  It's been a few days so far and it has been great-- mostly.  We had a bad experience riding a public bus during rush hour, but that was our fault.  Other than that, the weather is great, the social atmosphere is friendly and warm, everything is cheap, and there are lots of good markets and street foods.  One annoying thing is the lack of public restrooms which were in great abundance in South Korea (and clean to boot).

So far we've only been in Bangkok.  We've visited some palaces, took a canal tour on our own private boat, went to the biggest (and probably best) public market I've ever seen, went to Chinatown (kind of a letdown), visited some HUGE malls and were duped into buying REAL (fake) designer goods, and I went to a night of  Muay Thai matches.  Not enough time to go into much detail as I have to pay to use this extremely slow hostel computer.  But here are some pictures to do the talking.
